Alex Hales announces international retirement at 34

England batter Alex Hales on Friday announced his retirement from international cricket at the age of 34, bringing an end to a controversial career. Hales, a right-hand batter, had represented England in 11 Tests , 70 ODIs and 75 T20 matches.
