Pakistan and their 21-year wait for ODI World Cup title

Pakistan holds the record for most wides and no-balls bowled in World Cup matches. They won the World Cup once in 1992. Javed Miandad is the only Pakistani batter with over 1,000 runs in the World Cup. Pakistan has conceded 40 extras or more in five World Cup fixtures. They have also won a match by just one wicket with no balls remaining. Wasim Akram has the most wickets for a Pakistani bowler in the World Cup. Saqlain Mushtaq is the only Pakistani bowler to take a hat-trick.
