'Back in COVID times...': Arthur on security measures for Pak team

Pakistan's Director of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, has attributed some of the challenges in their World Cup campaign to strict security measures that have confined players to their hotel rooms, limiting their socialisation. With four losses in seven matches, Pakistan must win their remaining games, including the upcoming match against New Zealand, to stay in contention for the semifinals. Arthur described the situation as resembling COVID times, where players were confined to their floor and team room.
