India banking on coach Amol Muzumdar's experience: Mandhana

Indian women's team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, who herself has featured in just four Tests throughout her decade-long career, underscores the importance of having Muzumdar, a former domestic stalwart and captain, as the head coach. His experience is deemed crucial as the team prepares for the upcoming four-day game starting in Navi Mumbai on Thursday. Despite the women's team being away from top-flight red-ball cricket for the past 24 months, they have actively been training with the red ball under the guidance of head coach Amol Muzumdar, who assumed the role in October of the current year.
