Sohail Tanvir playing in APL raises conflict of interest cries

The decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to allow national junior chief selector Sohail Tanvir to play in the American Premier League (APL) has sparked criticism over conflict of interest. Tanvir, who recently announced the Pakistan youth squad for the ICC U19 World Cup, has permission to participate in the league. However, the league is awaiting approval from the USA Cricket Council. This situation has also brought attention to senior chief selector Wahab Riaz, who is scheduled to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL).
