Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is set to introduce a new law to prevent power meddling following the International Cricket Council's suspension for "political interference." A cabinet sub-committee, appointed by president Ranil Wickremesinghe, has submitted recommendations to address governance issues that led to the suspension. The sub-committee was formed after former sports minister Roshan Ranasinghe violated ICC's governance rules, leading to the relocation of the Under-19 World Cup to South Africa.
