Stokes 'devastated' as Bashir returns home to sort out visa issues

England's preparations for the upcoming five-Test series against India have been disrupted by visa issues for off-spinner Shoaib Bashir. Bashir, a 20-year-old with limited first-class experience, was delayed in joining the squad due to pending visa approval. He was not in contention for a spot in the opening Test. England captain Ben Stokes expressed disappointment, stating that he didn't want this to be Bashir's first experience in the England Test team.
