Root becomes highest run-scorer in Ind-Eng Tests

Joe Root, an England batsman, has become the highest run-scorer in India-England Test matches, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's record of 2,535 runs in 32 matches against England. Root, entering the field with just 10 runs sy of the record, achieved the milestone in the 21st over, thereby establishing him as the highest run-scorer in India-England Tests, accumulating 2,555 runs in 48 matches.
