1st Test: Green century steers Australia to 279/9 vs NZ

Cameron Green smashed his second Test century, guiding Australia to a total of 279-9 by the end of the opening day's play in the first Test at Wellington. After being put into bat and struggling at 89-4, Green embarked on a rescue mission, finding support from Mitchell Marsh, who contributed 40 runs. The 24-year-old Green reached his century with his 16th boundary in the final over, finishing unbeaten on 103, while Josh Hazlewood had yet to score.
